Description

This tour will include a nice walking tour in the morning, showing you and buying seasonal products in the local market gathering with local people. You will be shown how to cook the products after the walk while drinking txakoli, a white local wine, Rioja red wine or cider. Have an exclusive and unique chance to feel the experience of being in a private cooking club where locals gather. Taste some typical fresh Basque and seasonal food and also learn how to cook it too.  The main rule of the cooking club following the history of why those clubs were founded, was that only the men were allowed to cook and to access the kitchen, and the women were only able to watch, be served and of course, to enjoy the experience but not to work.
