Description
The tour departs from Bilbao, passing towns nestled between mountains before arriving in Loyola, the hometown of Saint Ignatius of Loyola, founder of the Jesuits. Here, you will visit the Basilica and the tower house where he was born and lived.
The next stop is Getaria, a medieval fishing village known as the birthplace of Juan Sebastian Elcano, the first man to sail around the world, and designer Cristobal Balenciaga.
Continuing along the coast, the tour passes Zarauz, home to the largest beach in Gipuzkoa province, before reaching San Sebastian. In the Old Town, enjoy a guided walking tour followed by free time for lunch. The afternoon includes a visit to Mount Igeldo to view La Concha Bay before returning to Bilbao in the evening.
