Description
This tour visits one of the oldest traditional wineries featuring “cave-cellars” dug 7-8 meters (23-26 feet) deep beneath houses. It offers a unique opportunity to explore these historic underground cellars. The wine tastings focus on high-end selections from a family-run boutique winery, offering singular wines difficult to find elsewhere and avoiding large corporate brands.
The route includes a visit to the best lookout point for panoramic views and photography of the Marques del Riscal winery and hotel, designed by architect Frank Gehry, known for the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao.
