Your local guide from Zarautz will introduce you to the town’s highlights, including a walk along the beach promenade and a visit to the farmer’s market, where you can sample homemade bread, local cheese, apple jelly, and cider. On Sundays, when the market is closed, pintxos and beer or award-winning ice cream in Getaria are offered instead.

Afterward, hike a section of the Way of St. James, finishing at a txakoli winery where you will taste three wines paired with pintxos featuring tuna, cheese, and salted anchovies from the village.
