Description
Located in the town of Hernani, Chillida Leku blurs the boundary between art and nature. The museum itself is conceived as a large artwork, inviting visitors to explore its grounds intuitively without a fixed route.
The sculpture garden hosts monumental works integrated with beech, oak, and magnolia trees, creating a dialogue between nature and art. The adjacent Zabalaga Farmhouse is preserved in its traditional form and hosts changing exhibitions that provide historical context to Chillida’s creations.
Entry tickets include access to the sculpture park, the farmhouse, and temporary exhibitions. Selecting the guided tour option deepens understanding of Chillida’s philosophy and artistic process. Tours conclude in open spaces, allowing visitors to continue exploring independently.
